Sepang, 5 July 2012 – KLIA-TV is a multi-media platform offering the most comprehensive and fastest review of information and global news targeted for a captive audience at KLIA and LCCT-KLIA. Providing lifestyle and airport informative channel with entertainment, information and news for exclusive broadcast, KLIA-TV is among the information provider for those who are on the go. Managed by Terranego Media Sdn.Bhd through its dedicated company Rimbun HybridTV Broadcast Sdn. Bhd. (RHBSB), KLIA-TV comes with the latest multi standard “wifi transmission” technology utilizing satellite connectivity for simultaneous channel transmission throughout KLIA and LCCT-KLIA.
With the presence of KLIA-TV, KLIA and LCCT-KLIA are furnished with 500 units of Samsung LED TVs (400 units of 46” and 55” TVs at KLIA and 100 units of 46” TVs at LCCT-KLIA). Passengers and visitors at KLIA too, will be able to get the latest real-time international airport information via three units of electronic Flight Information Display System (e-FIDS) panels installed at the International/Domestic Departure Halls at Level 5 and International/Domestic Arrival hall at Level 3. The supporting technology behind this service is the Vestigia tracking system as a smart partnerships with KLIATV which is designed to monitor the movement of vehicles such as airplanes, trains or automobiles that has a time relationship with geography. Powered by Titanclass, this first of its kind system is a revolution in global communications, allowing geographically related information to be displayed in a relevant and informative manner on a 2 or 3 dimensional form using stunning imagery in a global or rectilinear view.
